Join us in this communal act of gratitude and solidarity as we gather food, winter clothing, books, and household goods for the families who feed us.
Heart of Washington Campaign
CURRENT PROJECT
What is Heart of Washington?
Washington's phenomenal farm workers are behind nearly all we eat and drink. They are the hands that make that our favorite rainy-day soup or chilled drink on a hot afternoon possible. Since 2020, we gather cultural food, household goods, books, and winter clothing through the fall to be delivered in early December as active gratitude to those who feed us.
Heart of WA is our largest yearly community effort, serving between 200-250 farmworking families. Our goal this year is to feed 300 families across four farmworking communities across Sunnyside, Wenatchee, Mount Vernon, and Ephrata.
How can I participate in Heart of Washington?
There are so many ways to get involved! No action is too small and each on makes a ripple. From donating to organizing to driving— there many ways to actively show gratitude to the communities who feed us.
